Simbhaoli sugars to start its Ethanol Distillery at Brijnathpur
Simbhaoli Sugar Mills Limited is coming up with an ethanol distillery at Brijnathpur. The capacity of this distillery will be 60 KL / day. The distillery will be equipped with state of the art plant and machineries, the order for which has been placed with M/s. Alfa Laval India Limited, Pune.
The distillery will commence production from March 2007. It will get molasses from the upcoming sugar mill of Simbhaoli group at Brijnathpur, which is going to start its operation from November 2006. The total investment on this distillery will be Rs 31 crore and it will increase the Simbhaoli group’s capacity of ethanol production to 180 KL/day making Simbhaoli sugars among the top five-ethanol producers in India. The backward integration from Brijnathpur sugar plant into ethanol would lead to value addition to the sugar business. This ethanol plant will also take care of all the environment protection measures.
With this distillery project, Simbhaoli Sugars would complete the target of Rs 400 crore investments in various expansion projects.
