Add a Tangy touch to Molasses with Gingersnaps

Grab the ingredients and get ready for some weekend baking! 

-2tsp ground ginger

-375g (3 cups) all-purpose flour

-170g (0.75 cup) softened unsalted butter

-104g (0.25 cup) dark molasses

-1 egg

-67g (0.40 cup) Classic Sulphurless Sugar by Trust

-1tsp baking soda

-1.25tsp ground cinnamon

-0.25tsp ground cloves

-0.25tsp ground nutmeg

-0.25tsp salt

-2tsp pure vanilla extract

  • Take a large bowl and mix the all-purpose flour, ground ginger, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Set that aside and take another large bowl. Whip softened butter for about a minute and beat brown sugar until light and fluffy.   • Preheat your oven to 177°C (350°F) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Make small balls of the dough and roll them in granulated sugar.
